Superyacht Base is located in Osaka & Kobe, close to the geographical center of Japan, and with a satellite office in Monaco. In Japan we are just a short cruise from the famous Steo Naikai cruising area, and we have unique access working with the new Superyacht Base Kobe, a marina designed for any size yacht.
In Japan we are a shore side agent handling superyachts of any size and also are heavily involved in superyacht marina development. From our Monaco office we handle superyacht management with assistance from Japan for Japanese based superyachts.
The team has over 100 years of operational superyacht experience all over the world.

The staff of Superyacht Base pioneered superyacht cruising in Japan by setting up the first ever agency here in the very early 2000’s. Since then our staff (all previous superyacht crew) have assisted many super yachts ranging from 30 to 140 meters, for full service cruising in Japan.
Our team have all been operational crew onboard superyachts and we understand Captains, crew, owners/principles and guests, and how the systems & schedules work to make guests trips successful.
We are full service and bespoke and have a range of destinations and suggested itineraries for Captains & Owners.
Marina Development
Design – Develop – Invest – Operate
As superyacht marina developers we are heavily involved in designing, investing, building & operating world class superyacht infrastructure mostly in the Japanese archipelago but also further afield in Asia and the world.
Our first project via our ownership companies and a consortium of partners, is Superyacht Base Kobe due to open early 2027 which has stern to dockage for up to 80 meters a total of 1.75 km of dockage, with a single quay of 360m long. SYB Kobe can accommodate multiple superyachts of any size alongside.
More projects are under discussion and in the pipeline. We regularly work with private companies, individuals and local governments to advise and assist them in investment, development and operation of superyacht facilities.

Our satellite Monaco office handles superyacht management for vessels all over the world, specializing in full operational, technical and fiscal management of large superyachts. Currently we manage yachts from 30 meters to 120 meters.
For superyachts in Japan & Japanese owned superyachts, the Japan office partners with Monaco.

Our team has a combined 100 years+ of operational superyacht experience, almost everyone has been operational crew around the world on yachts from 40 to 140 meters in length. Staff also have a wealth of shoreside experience operating superyacht marinas and assisting superyachts cruising in Japan as well as first hand Japanese cruising knowledge themselves as Captains and Crew.
